Two PAD Faculty Honored at 2022 St. Louis Theater Circle Awards

The 2022 St. Louis Theater Circle Awards honors outstanding achievements in locally produced professional theater. This year's ceremony honored the work done during the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Approximately 75 productions were recognized in over 30 award categories. This year two  Performing Arts Department faculty were recognized for their work in the St. Louis theatre community. We congratulate Sean Savoie, Senior Lecturer of Design-Technical Theater and Coordinator of Design-Technical Theater Program, who was awarded Outstanding Lighting Design in a Musical for his work on “Jersey Boys,” with Stages St. Louis.  We also salute founder of the Black Rep,  Ron Himes, Henry E. Hampton, Jr. Artist-in-Residence whose company was awarded both the Outstanding Ensemble in a Drama and Outstanding Production of a Drama for "Two Trains Running."  We also applaud the Black Rep's Brian McKinley for his work on "Spell #7" which won him the Outstanding Supporter in a Drama, Male or Nonbinary Role.
